    The hosts, Carolyn and Lex, went above and beyond with local tips and the breakfast was delicious. Our room had fine views and was super cozy. Should’ve packed a flashlight for the winding lane though!

    superb views, large comfortable house, peaceful location

    Although the hotel offers charm, the winding lane to the house could use better lighting for evening arrivals!!! A more refined approach to the decor might enhance the overall experience.

    The breakfast with local or home produced food. Location just off Hexham and Hadrian's Wall, local shops and restaurants and Newcastle Upon Tyne airport. Also, to travel from-and-to the residence.

    The Superior Double or Twin Room offered a good garden view and was impressively spacious. Breakfast featured sumptuous seafood that elevated our mornings, while the en suite bathroom added much to the comfort. The winding lane leading to the hotel poses a challenge at night, and the porch space for our dog could be tricky for some pet owners. The remote setting may not suit everyone.

    The Superior Double or Twin Room with Garden View was really spacious, had a king-sized bed, and a nice en suite. It felt super cozy and clean, great after a long day of exploring.
